Rattlesnakes are a group of venomous snakes that are all native to the Americas. They get their name from the rattle located at the end of their tails, which makes a loud noise to deter predators. There are 36 known species of them, and they are the leading contributor to snakebite injuries in North America. They rarely bite unless provoked or threatened, however, and the bites are seldom fatal if promptly treated. The guy in today’s video, Justin, suffered from one heck of a rattlesnake bite, and he endured numerous surgeries during the healing process. Take a look at his medical journey, but please use viewer discretion when doing so.
