A true sebaceous cyst arises from a sebaceous gland, which secretes the oily substance (sebum) that lubricates the hair and skin. They are less common than epidermoid cysts, which are sometimes mistakenly referred to as sebaceous cysts. The patient in today’s clip thought that she had a sebaceous cyst, but her true diagnosis was actually much worse. Check out the video to see what this growth turned out to be!
