Massive, Gaping Pressure Sore

A pressure sore is a skin lesion that is caused by friction and unrelieved pressure. Any part of the body can be affected, but it’s most frequently in bony areas such as ankles and knees. This condition usually affects paralyzed, injured, or frail people who have limited mobility. This is also known as a pressure ulcer or bedsore. Today’s clip shows a severe case in a 90-year-old female with dementia. Viewer discretion is strongly advised!
