Giant Abscess On Horse’s Neck

Poor Buster the horse! He has a giant abscess on his neck that looks very painful. An abscess is a swollen area within body tissue, containing an accumulation of pus. Lancing it will relieve the pressure, and Sandi is going to show us how it’s done. While it’s nice to see her clean the affected area first, I’m not so sure about the lack of gloves. It also seems like Buster could have used a numbing injection first. He seems quite uncomfortable with all the squeezing. I’m no veterinary professional, though, so I can’t say for sure. You’ll have to decide for yourself after watching!
