Belly Button Stone (Umbilicolith)

Umbilicoliths are accumulations of dead skin, oil, and dirt in the belly button. They are also known as navel stones, umboliths, and omphaloliths. They aren’t usually harmful, and the treatment is simply by removal. Thoroughly cleaning the navel on a regular basis should be enough to prevent their return. There are other navel stone removal videos out there, but this one is performed by an actual doctor (Mark Vaughan of the Auburn Medical Group). Please enjoy, and remember to keep those belly buttons clean!
